Welcome to Rugged Miles. These Terms of Service govern your use of our online store and the purchase of products from Rugged Miles by customers in Germany.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before placing an order.

Rugged Miles operates as a UK limited company and offers products to customers in the German market.
2. Conclusion of the Contract
The presentation of products in our online store does not constitute a legally binding offer. It is an invitation for the customer to submit an order.
By completing the checkout process and clicking the button confirming the purchase, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the selected products.
After receiving an order, Rugged Miles will send an automatic order confirmation by email. This confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order but does not necessarily constitute acceptance of the customer's offer.
A purchase contract is concluded when Rugged Miles expressly accepts the order or dispatches the ordered goods to the customer, unless otherwise stated.
If an ordered product is unavailable, Rugged Miles will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible and refund any payment already made for the unavailable product.

5. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are normally processed after successful payment confirmation.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carriers, customs procedures, public holidays, weather, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where available, customers may receive shipping and tracking information after their order has been dispatched.
6. Retention of Title
Where permitted by applicable law, the goods remain the property of Rugged Miles until the purchase price has been paid in full.
7. Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Customers in Germany who are consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts.
The statutory withdrawal period is generally 14 days from the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, receives the goods.
To exercise the statutory right of withdrawal, the customer must inform Rugged Miles of their decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement.
The customer is not required to provide a reason for exercising the statutory right of withdrawal.
All statutory requirements, deadlines, exceptions, and consequences relating to the right of withdrawal remain unaffected by these Terms.
8. Voluntary 30-Day Return Policy
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, Rugged Miles provides customers with a voluntary 30-day return policy.
This voluntary return policy is provided in addition to, and does not limit or replace, any statutory consumer rights.
Under our voluntary 30-day return policy:

Returned products should, where reasonably possible, be returned in a condition suitable for resale.
Nothing in this voluntary return policy limits the customer's statutory right of withdrawal or statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods.
9. Refunds
Following a valid statutory withdrawal or an approved return, refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable law and the relevant return conditions.
Where a statutory withdrawal applies, Rugged Miles will generally refund the payments received from the customer, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered by us, where required by applicable law.
Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless another method has been expressly agreed and does not result in additional costs for the customer.
Where legally permitted, Rugged Miles may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or the customer has provided evidence that the goods have been sent back.
10. Condition of Returned Goods
Customers may handle and inspect goods to the extent reasonably necessary to determine their nature, characteristics, and functionality, as they would normally be able to do in a physical store.
Under the statutory right of withdrawal, the customer may be liable for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods, where applicable law provides for such liability.
This provision does not restrict any statutory consumer rights.
11. Statutory Warranty and Defective Goods
All goods sold by Rugged Miles are subject to the statutory consumer rights applicable to defective or non-conforming goods.
If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, customers may have statutory rights, including rights to repair, replacement, price reduction, or contract termination where the applicable legal requirements are satisfied.
Our voluntary 30-day return policy does not limit or replace statutory warranty rights.
12. Liability
Rugged Miles is liable in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury, intentional or grossly negligent conduct, mandatory statutory liability, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rugged Miles will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded.
